Results are out, and by God's grace, I'm promoted.
I know I totally don't deserve it, and that I should've been retained coz I've been so lazy to study, plus the laziness was far worse than my O level days. My brain felt kind of stagnant. But well, since I was given a second chance, I'm gonna work as hard as I can from now :)
Yesterday all the literature students in school were invited to watch a play- Richard III.
I have always been fascinated by Shakesphere's stories- especially Romeo and Juliet. I know; I'mma sucker for romance. So you can imagine my excitement for this xD!
The play was by the Bridge Project, presented by Bank of America Merrill Lynch and produced by BAM, The Old Vic & Neal Street.
Richard III is centered on the character, Richard of Gloucester. The story is basically on the psychology of evil, or more specifically, on Richard. Of how he kills and frames people to get power, to get the title of King. Read more HERE.
The acting was superb. Though I couldn't understand 80% of what they're saying ( I think they're talking in Shakespherean language), at least I can tell what was going on through the actors' body language.
Fascinating. Awesome. That's all I can say about it. Coupled with dynamic music in the background, the effects are electrifying.
I especially like the actress portraying Lady Anne. She was full of angst, style and drama. Maybe it was because of her bob hairstyle.
